Virginia Museum of Fine Arts Richmond, VA
"The Splendors of Egypt" exhibit I thought would be small (small museum I never heard of). Instead, I found the exhibits most impressive and the Greek pottery exhibits most impressive as well. Well worth the cost of the ticket for the Egyptian lover. Cost $15 at the time; museum is free with a suggested donation of $5. Exhibits included a mummy, and pages from the book of the dead! Great stuff.
